Workshops

The purpose of workshops is to provide a more interactive and focused platform for presenting and discussing new and emerging ideas. The format of paper presentations may include oral presentations, poster presentations, keynote lectures and panels. Depending on the number of presentations, workshops can be scheduled for 1 day or 2 days. All accepted papers will be published in a special section of the conference proceedings book, under an ISBN reference, and on CD-ROM support. All papers presented at the conference venue will be available at the SCITEPRESS Digital Library. SCITEPRESS is a member of CrossRef and every paper is given a DOI (Digital Object Identifier). The proceedings are submitted for indexation by Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI), INSPEC, DBLP, EI (Elsevier Engineering Village Index) and Scopus.

Scope

Agile practices have been established in many areas of software development, project management, and now at the business organisations level. Currently, Agile business consortium is developing a framework for business Agility which is designed to help organisations become more adaptive, creative, and resilient in complex uncertain times. However, there has not been enough Agile practices applied to service and cloud computing. Therefore, the aim of this workshop is to create a community for cloud business agility. We call for papers in the following areas related to Agile Cloud but not limited to these areas:

·         Cloud Business Agility Practices

·         Agile approaches to big data and deriving business values

·         Agile requirements engineering for cloud computing

·         Scrum agile approaches for cloud computing

·         Agile project management practices for cloud computing

·         System dynamics modelling for Agile cloud computing

·         Agile estimation for cloud computing projects

·         Agile testing for cloud computing

·         Agile education and certification

·         Agile team dynamics methods and practices

·         Continuous Delivery and DevOps practices

·         Agile operational management

·         Agile SOA practices

Scope

Internet of Things (IoTs) have emerged as a disruptive technology and an enabling platform to interconnect humans, systems, services, devices and thing. To support the IoTs vision; a number of challenges exist in terms of engineering and development of systems that rely on software, platform, and infrastructure level support (offered by cloud computing) to develop, evolve and operate IoT solutions. Engineering the cloud-based software services can support a seamless integration between the hardware, software, and networking technologies to enable an internet of portable and context-aware devices and things. The scope of the proposed workshop (SE for Cloud IoTs) is to consolidate the research and development efforts that exploit Software Engineering principle and practices to address the challenges of Cloud-based IoTs.
